Can the government save us or are we headed for a financial collapse?

The last 8 years have been hard on America. No one could possibly think that all the job losses and the higher prices would not eventually adversely affect the economy. We have gone from surplus to near bankruptcy. We have a government that is totally out of touch and unrealistic. The damages from the last 8 years are starting to show and the foundation of our economy is crumbling. Greed of the haves and the have mores finally has taken its toll on this country. Mismanagement, job losses and higher prices have put America on its knees. At this point, I am not sure anybody could get the economy back in the black.
