What is the best way to shoot video in a prohibited environment?

My wife is about to have our third child and people are saying that there are no video cameras allowed in the delivery room. Lawyers will not rule over me, so I need ideas on how I can shoot video CIA style (on the down low...) Like a lipstick cam but even smaller so they just will not know. I do have a spare small Sony PC-1 that I can pocket if something will connect in it. Audio is not important as I can sync that from another source if needed. I just want the most bang for my buck, the maximum resolution without the hollywood budget. Please answer if you have any useful info. If you want to talk Legalities then bore someone else....
