Do the hormone additives in milk cause growth to be stunted, or do they promote it?

I'm asking this because, as a girl, I'm at a crucial point in growth(15), and I don't want to screw it up. Firstly, I know milk is excellent for growth, but I've heard that the added hormones cause girls to mature early, stunting their growth. I got the long, lanky genes, so that's something I really don't have to worry about. I still really haven't grown outward much at all. But I've also heard that the hormones will make you taller, but my mother said that they aren't those kind of hormones. So, what do I believe?
